To kick off the 8th Annual Kentucky Art Car Weekend, multi-media artist Scott Scarboro will direct the "Junkabilly Drive-In," where a common park gets transformed into a fully functioning drive-in movie theater, complete with concessions and radio transmitted audio. Cars can arrive as early as 7pm.
This is the 6th time we are creating the makeshift drive-in, and it will feature Harrod Blank's film Automorphosis, as well as a few short films about art cars. On hand will be dozens of art cars as they roll into town to participate in the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft's Art Car Weekend. This event is free to the public, so gather your lawn chairs, blankets and family and join us on the Wharf! The movie will begin at 9pm, but cars should begin arriving at 7pm.

Louisville’s most popular after work concert series. For the seventh year, the Waterfront Development Corporation and the Louisville Public Media are working together to offer free concerts on the Harbor Lawn featuring national and local artists. There is a cash bar and great upscale festival food. Boat docking is on a first come first served basis. Outside alcohol and glass are not permitted. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.
Musical guests: Cracker, Will Hoge, and Great Lake Swimmers.

WFPK Waterfront Wednesdays take place the fourth Wednesday of April and the last Wednesday of each month May through September. (Remaining dates: September 30.) The Harbor Lawn is located between the boat docks at the Great Lawn and the Children's Play Area. Parking is available along River Road, the Orange Lot, and surrounding pay lots. No outside alcohol, no glass, and please, no pets. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome and boat docking is available on a first come-first served basis.
