2009 represents the 29th "running" of the Rodes City Run, which is also the 2nd "leg" of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running. The exciting 10k course is Flat, Fast and Fun, and, with a field of nearly 6,500, is ranked the 12th largest 10k in the nation (according to the 2007 USATF rankings.) Proceeds from the Rodes City Run, and the entire Triple Crown series, are contributed to local charities. The 2008 Louisville Triple Crown of Running donated over $131,000 to the WHAS Crusade for Children on behalf of its sponsors and participants.
Admission: $20 to enter the event (prior to March 9, 2009); no admission charge to watch the event.
