Entry fee for the walk is $30 per person and includes a commemorative T-shirt and healthy lunch for all participants who submit their $30 entry fee in by May 20. Individuals are also welcome to participate and may collect donations to support the walker to help obtain the entry fee.
We can only accept cash or check at this time but credit card donations to support Friends of the Waterfront can be made through our web site. We will gladly accept any donations on our web site (www.friendsofthewaterfront.com) for those who can not participate with us during the River Walk 2011.
Money raised by the Friends of the Waterfront River Walk will help support free community events like WFPK Waterfront Wednesday and the Waterfront Independence Festival. Money will also help support free wi-fi in the park, park clean team, and other projects that help promote and encourage the use of Waterfront Park by our community.
