Sailing regatta to help benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

In 1993, with the help of noted sailing expert and ESPN commentator Gary Jobson, the Maryland Chapter of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society hosted the first Leukemia Cup Regatta in Annapolis. Enthusiasm for the event spread across the country and in 1999 thirty-eight chapters participated in the National Leukemia Cup Regatta program. It's amazing how a weekend of sailing can go such a long way to help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society reach its goal of finding a cure for leukemia and all of the blood related cancers as well as improve the quality of life for patients and their families. By participating in the Leukemia Cup "Fleur De Lis" Regatta, you can raise much needed funds to support additional research and treatment of families in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
