A rectangular plaza immediately west of the water feature, this site is ideal for the vending component of large events. "Tetra", a major piece of sculpture by Charles O. Perry is located here. The Festival Plaza is adjacent to the Wharf and often is used in combination with it.
Venue features:
- - 3.5 acres in size, accommodates up to 10,000 (can accommodate more when combined with the Wharf).
- - Substantial water, electrical service and sewer hookups for concessionaires located on the concrete bands within the plaza.
- - Numerous park benches, located adjacent to shade trees.
- - 12 restroom facilities that can supplement portable restrooms.
- - Shady tree grove and lawn area.
- - Easy on the feet surface of crushed granite.
